Pompeii, Campania / Italy– October 20, 2012: The oldest surviving amphitheatre from the Roman Empire, built around 70 BC, in the ruins of the old city near Naples. The structure was buried under ash from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.

     Bill Chizek a husband, dad of three, retired US Navy, and self taught photographer originally from Manitowoc, WI who now resides in El Paso, TX.
